Through somatic self-inquiry, breathwork, mindfulness and movement you will build self-awareness and gain the ability to make choices that serve you best.
Somatic coaching draws on insights from diverse fields, including somatic psychology, neuroscience, embodiment practices and a connection with the respiratory system. It emphasises the fundamental interconnectedness of our physical and emotional experiences, and allows for deeper self-attunement and self-regulation. With so much of our time spent in the mind, we often lose touch with what the body is telling us. It is only through mindful self-inquiry and connection that we can in essence start to live more authentically and ultimately, come home to ourselves.
What
Soma comes from a word meaning "body" in Greek, so somatic means "of the body" and is most often used in connection with one's health.
Somatic coaching acknowledges the intricate connection between our bodies and minds and takes an integrative approach to personal development that leverages awareness of bodily sensations, movement, breath and posture.
From this awareness we can build greater alignment, build mind-body connection and foster greater resilience and self-regulation.
